Terms of Sale

Placeholder. Illustrative copy only — not reviewed legal text. Have these terms drafted properly before taking real orders.

Orders

An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we send your dispatch confirmation. If a piece has sold through between your order and our confirmation, we will contact you and refund in full.

Pricing

Prices are shown in Indian rupees and exclude GST, which is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. The rate applied depends on the price of each garment.

Made to order and alterations

Made-to-order pieces require a 50% deposit at the point of order, with the balance due before dispatch. Because the piece is made to your measurements, an order cannot be cancelled once cutting has begun.

Alterations on pieces bought here are included in the price. We will tell you before starting if a change is one we do not think will work on the garment.

Natural variation

Much of what we sell is hand-loomed and hand-embroidered. Slubs, small irregularities in weave, and minor variation in embroidery placement are characteristics of the process rather than faults, and are not grounds for return.

Faulty goods

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. If a piece is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.
